French General Ledger - job description

• You will be responsible for General accounting tasks (GL account maintenance, journal entries, closing activities, reporting etc.), Asset Accounting (capitalization, depreciation, amortization) and Cost Accounting.
• You will perform the closing and reporting under very tight deadlines
• Your responsibilities will also involve:
o Ensuring that trial balance is reconciled at all the times (bank transactions, fixed assets accounts, accounts receivable and payable transactions)
o Analyzing and book recurring, reclassification and allocation of journal entries;
o Closing & Reconciling sub ledgers: AP, AR, Inventory, Fixed Assets, Bank Accounts;

Candidate profile

• Near native fluency in French
• 2-8 years general accounting/General Ledger experience within a multinational environment
• CA/CPA/MBA Finance/ Accounting and Account qualifications
• knowledge of and experience with US GAAP, IFRS or other international GAAP
• analytical, multitasking and project management skills.
